Equipment

  • Charcuterie Board (Marble or Wood)

Ingredients

  • Cranberry and Orange Cheese Spread
  • Mango Fire Cheddar
  • Gluten-Free Sea Salt Crackers
  • In-Shell Pistachios
  • Kiwi Slices
  • Dried Apricots
  • Radishes
  • Rainbow Carrots
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Italian Dry Salami

Instructions

  • Decide on a board either marble or wood. I made a little plan for how I would lay out my ingredients in advance, but you can play around with the ingredients as you go.
  • Wash and prepare your ingredients. I sliced the carrots in half (keeping them longer) and cut off the excess greens on the edge of the carrots and radishes. I cut the mango-fire cheddar, hard boiled eggs, and kiwi into thin slices as well.
  • Next, start from the center of your board. For this particular platter, I had a circular bowl of the cranberry orange cheese spread that I placed in the middle. This way, I was able to build outwards in order to make the pattern of the board resemble flower petals.
  • Place the ingredients around the board. I tried to put complimentary ingredients and flavors near each other. I layered the crackers, cheese, and kiwi slices on top of one another in order to add some depth and design to my board.
  • I decided to fold the meat slices into fours and prop them up against each other to make the design stand out more.
  • Lastly, I sprinkled the radishes and boiled eggs with salt and pepper, finishing the design off with some pastel purple flowers around it.
