  1. Alyse,

Thank you for sharing some of the deals. I started poking around at the air freshners after you mentioned them. I’ve been eye balling the air wick mister that supposedly mists out scents every so often. The bluetooth one seemed to get a lot of bad reviews, people saying save your money and just get the simple one. Others claimed that you couldn’t smell the scent at all unless you were in a very tiny room.
The problem I have, is I stay in the top floor of my parents house since my dad falls a lot, especially during the nights. When we lived in our own place, we would often get phone calls at 2am when he would try to get out of bed and would fall. My Mom isn’t able to pick him up and they couldn’t afford to call anyone else but me and my husband.
So, we decided to move in with them so we could just be here. Plus, we were coming over to shovel the driveway almost daily in the winter, mow the lawn, take out the trash. It just made sense to stay here since they have a big upstairs with an extra living room, so that’s what we did.

Well, as elderly people go, they can’t shower as often as they used to. So I place smelly good things around the home so that when company comes over, they only smell the good stuff, and not the natural smells that people get when they can’t shower as often. My Mom is fine, but my Dad just has a hard time.

So, I’m always looking for ways to make the house smell good and the scents last a long time. It’s hard with the mists, since they often go out within just 3 weeks, but I have them turned up to the most frequent setting. I like to smell good things too, I’m afraid.

Have you heard anything good about the air mist from air wick yourself?

Thanks for the great information!! It definitely helped me to know where the deals are.

  2. Wow! Those are some amazing discounts! Even 43%, that’s nearly half price! It looks like it’s worth it to sign up for Amazon Prime.
As an Amazon Prime member do you need to have a minimum amount of purchases per year?

    1. @Christine thank you for stopping by today! For amazon prime, you do not need a minimum amount but you will want a good amount to make it worth it.

  3. Thanks for the Prime Day alert! I didn’t know but I’m sure my wife is on it. That blows my mind that the number 1 seller last year was avocados!?

  4. Prime Day sounds like such a big event – and by looking at those discounts that are being offered, I can’t help but be excited about it!

Avocados as one of last year’s top three purchased items on Prime Day – how cool is that! Who would have thought…..

Thank you so much for the info on this great event. I’ll be sure to watch for it every year.

  5. I have never heard of prime day deals! These are huge discounts. As the saying goes, every little counts! I will look into this further.
    Thanks for sharing Alyse.
