Best Organic Plant Based Protein Powder Review-And it’s HEALTHY

Organic Plant Based Protein Powder

After doing lots of research and tasting many flavors, I think the best organic plant based protein powder is here. It’s from a company called Orgain and it’s made in the USA. The name Orgain was derived from Organic + Gain due to its ORGANIC ingredients and the opportunity to GAIN health, energy and life through clean wholesome nutrition. The company was founded in 2008 by Dr. Abraham a physician and cancer survivor. I’m going to specifically review the plant based protein powder but there are many different products available from Orgain.

Product Overview for Organic Plant Based Protein Powder

The flavor is outstanding and not grainy. I’ve mixed it in my Vitamix with almond milk, veggies and/or fresh fruit. My favorite recipes are mixing the protein powder with banana and peanut butter or with strawberries and banana. There are many flavors available but vanilla bean is my favorite.  Store the protein powder in a dry, cool place, such as a closet or pantry. Do not store the protein powder in the refrigerator or freezer as moisture can shorten the shelf life.

Some of the nutritional benefits of the vanilla bean flavored 1lb sized plant based protein powder are:

  • 5g of fiber
  • 0g of sugar
  • 21g of protein
  • 150 calories
  • 100% vegan and dairy free
  • Soy free
  • Gluten free
  • Non-GMO

  1. Healthy, plant-based and organic are right up my alley and as such I am very glad to have come across your post on Orgain Organic Plant Based Protein Powder. Powders are great because they can be mixed with a multitude of other ingredients, which is more fun too. Good to know that this product comes in 1 or 2 lb bags and has a 100% money-back guarantee. This price is also quite reasonable. Not only will I enjoy this product but it will also make for the perfect gift, so I will save your post for when it’s soon time to order, thanks!

  2. Great in-depth review!  I absolutely love that you said this protein powder is not grainy.  I think it is hard to find a tasty and healthy powder where it doesn’t have a grainy element to it when you make a smoothie.  My boyfriend (with quarantine) recently got into protein shakes and lifting.  The vanilla powder we have is ‘Quest’ and it does have a grainy taste to it.  I’m excited to share this review with him.

  4. As a fitness enthusiast, I never consume plant-based protein before, but after reading your review, I decided to give it a try.

However, I have one quick question, is it true that plant-based protein doesn’t work that great compared to whey protein? Because many of my training partners suggest me to consume animal-based protein rather than a vegan one.

    1. @Zac Thanks for stopping by my website.  I think there are different views on this but basically it would come down to whether a vegan wants to use an animal product.  There are also other pros and cons to both.
