  • What accessories does the blender come with (whisk, beaker, masher)
  • Will the immersion blender replace my countertop blender?
  • Is it dishwasher safe?

  1. The immersion blender is great for mincing up everything we like to make chili and we need to have it blended up. This would be great for us to use for the types of things can this chop up large quantities at a time? This can help us lots if we can put this in the big pan and chop it up without moving it everywhere.
We like the video shows us that we can do what we have asked and much more for easy to do recipes and soups specifically. It is not a bad price for what it can do with so many accessories that come with braun MQQ9007 Immensior hand blender.
Thank you for the article and for providing it.

    Cheers,

  2. Alyse,

I needed these reviews about 2 weeks ago! My blender broke and I started looking for an immersion blender. I ended up just buying a Kitchen Aid one from the store locally. I had looked on Amazon for some time, but so many of them had so many good reviews.

It’s not often that I feel overwhelmed on reviews, but I did when looking for a good one. I had about 5 in my cart at one point and then just bought one from the store.

I have to admit, I love my Kitchen Aid one though. It’s corded, not cordless. However, I think that it has a good amount of power to it in order to break down the foods in the sauces and soups.

Great article though! Glad I came across this for future reference. 🙂

  3. Hi and thanks for this interesting review.
I am not sure why these immersion blenders need to be cordless. We have a corded Cuisinart smart stick and it serves all the needs we have for it. As you so rightly say the big advantage of an immersion blender is that you can blend things in the cooking pot on the stove. We are able to do that perfectly well with our corded device. I get that this is a matter of personal preference. Anyway, this is a great reminder of how to make healthier soups and smoothies which is important to remember as so many of us are having to cook at home now all or nearly all the time. btw I love the Austin Powers type music on the video! – which I noticed as also for a corded blender. Best regards, Andy
